Christopher Brian Bridges (Ludacris)September 11, 1977 Christopher Brian Bridges (Ludacris), rapper, songwriter and actor, was born in Champaign, Illinois.

Ludacris moved to Atlanta, Georgia at a young age and wrote his first rap song at the age of 9. He recorded his debut album, “Back for the First Time”, in 2000. This was followed by seven other albums, including “Word of Mouf” (2001), “Chicken-n-Beer” (2003), “Release Therapy” (2006), which won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album, and “Battle of the Sexes” (2010).

Ludacris made his film debut in “2 Fast 2 Furious” in 2003. He has since appeared in a number of other films, including “Crash” (2004), “Hustle & Flow” (2005), and “Max Payne” (2008).
